CNC Punching

Fowlers of Bristol (Engineers) Ltd are installing a new energy saving Punch Press to enable High Speed/High Quality processing of sheet metal components - see ../news/
Our CNC Punching facilities are composed of 3 different punch presses which are programmed “off line” using a RADAN CAD/CAM system. This enables us to programme parts quickly and without interrupting production, a programme once generated can be sent via a cable link to any of the three machines, the largest of which is a 25 Tonne LVD Shape Delta 1250 CNC Punch Press, this press has a rotary turret that can take 20 different tools up to 89mm Dia, it is also equipped with an auto index facility which enables complex shapes and profiles to be produced quickly without the need for special tooling.
We can punch a variety of materials which include St.Steel, Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Titanium and Nickel Alloys. We can process sheets as large 2500 x 1250 mm (up to 3 mm thick in mild steel).
