I went into manufacturing straight from school and served a traditional 5-year apprenticeship covering many engineering disciplines, since then I have held various managerial roles covering production, quality, and engineering. I have been at Fowlers for over for 30 years and love being part of a dynamic, conscientious and customer focused team, together we have built long lasting relationships with a number of prestige companies.

Sales & IT Manager

I joined full time with Fowlers in 2012 but have been working for the company since 2005. My role has adapted significantly and means that i have a very good understanding of all areas of the business. My role now focuses on Sales, IT & purchasing. Days are varied and there is never a dule one :). I have been involved with the company for 20 years, I love the team spirit here and how everyone pulls together to get the job done.

Customer service is so important to me, going that extra mile so the customer is happy and wants to return is priceless. I’m all about building long term relationships and ensuring customers expectations are not only met but exceeded.

New Product Manager

I have over 10 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering specialising in precision machining. Working at Fowlers as a Production Engineer my role is to be the first point of contact with our customers, initially reviewing their enquiry, quoting and completing a comprehensive NPI contract review. I take great pride in ensuring our customers have a top-quality service from the start of the project right through to parts going out the door.

Having studied Aerospace Engineering at university, I am now working at Fowlers as a Production Engineer. In line with Fowlers’ commitment to customer satisfaction, I review customer enquiries and produce quotes tailored to their needs as part of our Sales team. This role makes the most of my experience in team projects and part design, while providing an environment of constant learning and growth that reflects Fowlers’ dedication to continuous improvement.

I have various roles here at Fowlers, from the planning and coordination of production activities to overseeing health and safety. Primarily I ensure that all orders on the shop floor are produced on time, and to the exacting standards of our customers. I particularly enjoy leading a team in problem solving, and the challenge of continual improvement to our processes. Every improvement that we make here at Fowlers, means that we can offer an even better service to the customer

Master Production Scheduler

With over 10 years of experience in supply chain, mainly within the automotive industry, it has enabled me to transfer my knowledge into the aerospace sector here at Folwers seamlessly. As a Master Production Scheduler, my role includes managing the production scheduling to ensure the efficiency of production, liaising with customers, liaising cross functionally with all teams, such as production, sales, quality, and despatch, and to make sure our products are delivered on time, in full. I take great pride in building solid relationships with our customers, developing trust, and mutual success.”

I have been with Fowlers for 3 years, I love the enthusiasm of the workforce and I find myself learning something new every day. I have various responsibilities my primary being the lead in the Despatch department. All efforts are made to ensure total customer satisfaction succeeds. Meeting customer/ and business needs are of utmost importance to me as this reflects how we compare to our competitors.

I have worked at Fowlers engineering for since 2021, after relocating from my hometown of Portsmouth, where I had worked for a small precision engineering company for 33 years, producing mainly aerospace precision sheet metal products. Starting on the shopfloor in various rolls of manufacture, taking over the lead inspectors roll for the final 12 years. I enjoy working for a small company where you feel part of a team and take pride in providing quality products to our customers

I joined Fowlers, during the transition from our original Montpellier site to our new improved Avonmouth premises. This not only gave us more space but a great location to serve our customers. Working in the various teams at Fowlers as the Finance Manager, has been a positive rewarding experience. It has given me the confidence to gain knowledge and broadened my learning experience. This has also enabled me to grow the company wide finances in both a controlled and positive way. With these foundations in place, we can give a top-quality service to all our customers no matter what industry sector they serve.
